HOW IT WORKS

After Your Initial Inquiry

Each brand shoot begins with a consultation call to understand your vision and your brand. We'll discuss strategy and your marketing goals, as well as how you plan to use your images and the creative direction that we should take.  Next, I'll send over a proposal and timeline for you to review.

Pre-production

Before I can photograph your brand, I need to know it inside and out. Through intentional questions, you’ll share your brand’s story, your goals, and where your photo gaps are. Together, we'll discuss if there's a need to assemble a team from the network of professionals I work with, including wardrobe stylists, set designers, and more.

Creative Research

Your brand photos should make you stand apart, not echo what’s already been done. Through meticulous research, I develop concepts within your Creative Brief, as well as a mood board, that celebrates what’s unique about your brand while aligning with your visual identity.

Pre-Shoot

On our call, we’ll review your custom brand concepts and discuss wardrobe and props. Shortly after, you’ll receive a detailed Creative Brief with timelines, as well as shot and prop lists, to guide us through the shoot.

Shoot Day

I’ll be there about an hour before our shoot to walk through the space and set up. We’ll work through the shot lists I’ve compiled, while leaving room for new ideas to arise during the shoot!

Signed, Sealed, Delivered 

Once your gallery has been delivered, we'll have a final debriefing call to ensure the images meet your vision and align perfectly with your brand.  Then it's time to sit back, pop open the champagne, and let the photos do the work!

Q. How will you help us prepare?

I have a plan for everything. From my Brand Welcome Guide to pre-shoot strategy call and your meticulously thought-out Creative Brief, you’ll feel fully prepared for your brand shoot.

Q. I love your editing style—but it doesn’t match our brand’s aesthetic. Will your photos work for us?

Every brand has its own look and feel, and in the planning phase, I take care to get a sense of your established visual identity. The edits in your gallery will always be aligned with your brand’s aesthetic, not mine.

Q. Do you offer product photography?

Yes, if you are a product-based brand, we can include product photography as one of your brand concepts.

Q. Are there any additional costs?

If you don’t have a brick-and-mortar location, there are plenty of options for creating the right environment for your brand shoot. Some clients choose to rent a studio or Airbnb, while others use their own homes if the space is well-suited. A home can work beautifully if it has the right layout, natural light, and a few “on-brand” spaces that align with your aesthetic. During our consultation, if you’re considering a home session, I’ll ask you to send me a quick video walkthrough so I can advise whether it’s a good fit for your shoot.

Beyond the location, thoughtful details can take your session to the next level. Many of my clients partner with a stylist to curate outfits that reflect their brand personality, while others opt for custom hand-painted backdrops or styling mats created to match their brand colors. These elements add polish and consistency, ensuring that every image feels aligned, intentional, and true to your brand identity.

Q. Which type of shoot is best suited for my brand?

Whether the Half-Day Brand Shoot or the Full-Day Brand Shoot is right for you depends on several factors: the number of locations you want to capture, the number of team members included, and how much imagery you need for your website and content calendar.

The Quarter-Day Shoot is perfect for new businesses that want a small number of impactful images for their website and social profiles. It’s also ideal for new product launches, or just giving a quick refresh to an existing brand.
