Starting with a consultation call, this is my chance to learn more about what you are looking for, and your chance to make sure we go together like coffee and a croissant!
For team and corporate headshots, this is an open invitation to share about your company culture and the brand values that you want to evoke in your team’s headshots.
Styling and planning
Once you’ve booked your headshot shoot, I’ll send over a detailed questionnaire as well as my Headshot Guide, which is full of advice on styling as well as tips on what to do (and not to do!) in preparation for your shoot.

If you think you'd rather visit the dentist than have your headshots taken, take a deep breath. I promise it'll be more fun than you think (even if you don't get a free toothbrush at the end!).

Q: Do you offer different backdrops?
Yes, the studio I use in Old Town Alexandria features traditional, solid-colored backdrops, as well as a relaxed lifestyle area for styled headshots. I also own several hand-painted backdrops that we can consider using.
We may also be able to take your headshots on location at your place of business in or near Alexandria, just let me know when you inquire!
Q: Can you come to our place of business to take headshots of our whole team?
Absolutely, when you inquire with me, let me know where you’re located and your overall headcount!
If you need photos of your location, product photography, or other brand imagery, we can also fit team headshots into a half- or full-day branding shoot.
Q: In addition to headshots, can we get some full-body shots?
Yes! When we meet for a consultation call, let me know if you require more than the above-the-shoulder photos and how you intend to use them. Often, if you're after full-body "headshots," what you might actually need is a brand shoot. Don't worry; during our chat, we can determine what will best suit your needs!
